Numerous pitfalls can derail an agency’s disciplinary action – whether that action is a suspension, demotion, or removal – and make a bad situation worse. Because anything can happen during a legal challenge to an adverse action, the most “effective and efficient” approach to employee misconduct isn’t always traditional discipline.
This two-hour training will explain why, how, and when to use numerous alternative actions, including last chance agreements, last rites agreements, paper suspensions, reprimands in lieu of suspension, and more.
